The Usual Suspects is a neo-noir mystery thriller directed by Bryan Singer. The film follows the interrogation of Roger "Verbal" Kint, a small-time con man who is one of only two survivors of a massacre and fire on a ship docked at the Port of Los Angeles. Kint tells an increasingly complex story about the events that led him and four other career criminals to the boat and their connection to a mysterious, legendary crime lord known as Keyser Söze.

Did You Know?

Kevin Spacey won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Verbal Kint. The film also won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. The iconic line-up scene was reportedly difficult to film because the actors kept laughing. Director Bryan Singer decided to use some of the takes where they were laughing in the final cut. The film's intricate plot and twist ending have made it a cult classic, frequently appearing on lists of the greatest films of all time.
