Moonlight is an intimate coming-of-age drama directed by Barry Jenkins, based on Tarell Alvin McCraney’s semi-autobiographical play In Moonlight Black Boys Look Blue. The film follows the life of Chiron, a young Black man growing up in a rough Miami neighborhood, as he grapples with his identity, family, and sexuality across three defining stages of his life.
