Jojo Rabbit is a dark comedy-drama directed by Taika Waititi, based on the novel Caging Skies by Christine Leunens. Set during World War II, the story follows Jojo, a lonely German boy whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers that his mother is hiding a Jewish girl in their home. Guided—often comically—by his imaginary friend Adolf Hitler, Jojo begins to question everything he has been taught.
