Hocus Pocus, directed by Kenny Ortega, is a fantasy comedy film that follows a cynical teenage boy, Max Dennison, who accidentally resurrects three mischievous 17th-century witches—Winifred (Bette Midler), Sarah (Sarah Jessica Parker), and Mary (Kathy Najimy)—on Halloween night in Salem, Massachusetts. Max, his younger sister Dani, and his classmate Allison must then find a way to stop the witches from becoming immortal.
